The cottage was absolutely stunning and exceptionally clean, creating a movie-like scene. I felt completely safe during my stay, and the location added to the charm. The large comfortable bed with quality bedding was a highlight, and the owners had thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi was strong, and having two smart TVs with Netflix was a great bonus.
The bed arrangement of two singles being combined made it a bit uncomfortable, and the mattress was firmer than what I'm used to. However, this may be a matter of personal preference.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The fixtures and fittings were of high quality, and the location was just perfect for our needs. We were pleasantly surprised by the large, comfortable bed and the good quality pillows and bedding. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making the stay comfortable and convenient, with amenities like Wi-Fi and smart TVs with Netflix. the hotel provided a private and secluded atmosphere, which we really enjoyed.
One negative aspect was that the bed arrangement was a bit uncomfortable for us. The combination of two singles to form a double bed resulted in a firm mattress, which may not suit everyone's preference.

The cozy cottage at Rivers Rest was beautifully decorated, with a charming ambiance that made me feel right at home. The communal areas were well-maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. As a senior, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with easy access to the main areas and comfortable amenities that catered to my needs.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is clearer signage after crossing the final bridge. The small print and the shade from the trees made it difficult for us older folks to spot the right direction.

The location was quiet and convenient for exploring both the North Norfolk coast and Norwich. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner even provided clear directions when our sat nav and WiFi had signal issues.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.
